School X is an independent Nigerian examination reference. We cover one thing: the examination lifecycle, from working out which exam you need to sit through to holding a verified certificate.
What we cover
Every examination a Nigerian student sits from Primary 6 through pre-university entry: WAEC, WAEC GCE, NECO, NECO GCE, NABTEB, JAMB UTME, Direct Entry, BECE, Common Entrance, JUPEB, IJMB and Cambridge.
For each one: who can sit it, how to register, what it costs, what is examined, how it is graded, when results arrive, how to get the certificate, and what to do when something goes wrong.
What we do not cover
Admission processing. Cut-off marks, CAPS, catchment area, post-UTME screening and course subject combinations are a different subject with different rules, and covering them badly alongside examinations helps nobody. We stop at the point where you have a score and a certificate.
We also do not cover campus life, NYSC or scholarships.
Why we exist
Because a family can lose ₦30,000 and a full year by registering for an examination that does not offer the subject they need, and no existing Nigerian site tells them that before they pay.
Because millions of Nigerians search for “Junior WAEC” every year and the examination does not exist.
Because most pages about Nigerian examinations copy each other, cite nothing, and cannot tell you whether a figure came from the examination board or from another blog that made it up in 2019.
How we make money
Advertising. We do not sell PINs, tokens, registration services, centre placements or anything else connected to sitting an examination, and we do not take payment to recommend a centre or a body. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on this page before it happens.
